You guys are missing the point. You could have a lot more storage space, much more than the trunk, if you just take out the base of the back seat.

On the station wagon the base flips forward then the back fits where the base was. Unfortunately those of us with sedans don't have that option - we can only remove the base, but it's really easy on this car. Just try it, it'll be easy to put back, I promise. You'll see what I mean. You won't have as much hauling capacity as a station wagon of course, but you'll have a lot more than you normally do.


As for sex, unless you are five foot tall I just don't see anything *comfortably* happening in the back seat. The passenger seat folds back quite nicely (and will go further back if you remove the base of the back seat), plenty of room for whatever you have in mind.

 

i think i get what ur sayin...makes sense. thanks for the advice heat. and its much easier to just recline the passenger seat for sex...tust me

pull as hard as you can - ive had the rear seat bottoms in and out all year for my suspension install & tweaking

 

i would do that on coupe model, maybe, for NOS or some like that, but not sedan ^_^

 

okay, so i have the base of the back seat pulled completely out of the car. Now, how do i lower the BACK of the back seat down?

 

There is a large push button on top of the seat on each side. On some models there is a lock in the trunk on the rear of the seat to lock that button---I guess so kids can't play with it. Press the button down while pushing the back seat forward to fold it down.

the male clips on the seat are metal but the female sockets the clips go into are plastic and I have broken one of mine, fyi.
