Another thing to do is to hit up your local hardware store and look for some nylon rivets that look similar to what hold your grille on, this is what I did instead of going to the dealer for a measly $0.10 part. I know I've seen these type of fasteners at automotive stores as well, they may not look identical but they will serve the same purpose.

 

Yeah I used some other ones on my 97 tacoma that weren't the same as factory but they worked just as good. i got mine from Kragen and I am sure any automotive store will have them.

 

Around here, Pep Boys has a pretty good selection of those different little fastners.

 

I had to replace 2 on my rear mud flap a few weeks ago. Got them from the stealership for like $2.50 each.

 

I got some nylon rivets from Advanced AP or Autozone for a mudflap... not exact but it worked pretty good...its still on after 9 or so months

 

Thanks guys, I'll try to avoid the dealership if I can, I guess I'll try different stores, the autoparts store I tried didn't have what I was looking for. Is the correct name nylon rivets, push pins or what?
The ones Im using now are ok, but they aren't nearly as tight as I'd like them to be, they're pretty much place holders right now.

I got mine from the 'ship. Less than a dollar each. I think I got six for less than 4 bucks? :dunno:
