I have a 2006 Highlander Hybrid and lately if I let it idle for more than a few minutes it starts idling and running rough. It keeps running rough for about a day and a half and then stops until the next time it idles for an extended period of time. Any theories as to what’s causing this? Thanks in advance.

Sure, I have theories.
1. MAF sensor needs to be cleaned.
2. EGR needs to be cleaned
3. Fuel injectors need to be cleaned. Basically, entire fuel system.
4. 2006? Spark plugs ever replaced?
5. You don't really let it idle for 1.5 day, do you? It keeps running rough for about a day and a half and then stops until the next time it idles
