Simple power steering leak or worse?

I noticed that my power steering line is leaking up top, based on other threads I picked up Edelmann 80565 Power Steering Return Hose from Amazon, I'm hoping it fits.

I was under the car reaching for the coolant drain on the rear block (car has 130K, I know I'm a little overdue for that change) when I noticed that there looked like a build up of grease or or fluid of some sort.
I took a photo, hoping someone could tell me if this is a result of that leak from up top or if there's something more important going on here? Many thanks in advance

The P/S return hose on these engines is well known for leaking. Some say you can replace just that hose with 3/8" line. I can't vouch for the size of the hose.
It might help if you included vehicle description: make/model/yr/etc

Its an 07 Avalon with 130K on the odo. I guess I thought the power steering fluid was leaking and making that mess on the bottom, but someone else said the grease is coming from the CV joint, I'll have to check that out.
I did find a youtube video of some guy changing out the rack n pinion with a couple of household tools, I hope I don't have to go that far. For me, I can watch a youtube video that does something in fifteen minutes and it'll take me 15 hours so...

I had similar leak from the power steering return line on my 2011 Avalon and I figured that spring clamp doesn't work well with old hoses, I ended up just replacing that spring clamp with regular hose clamps with the screw. Lasted me for a few years until I traded that car in. That grease on the axle is coming from the CV joint, it looks like that clamp on the rubber boot coming loose. If this is the case you need to replace it because these clamps can not be reused, and while at it repack that CV joint with new grease.
