Well heres the story:
A few friends and myself were eating at a Whataburger and we decided to go to Lowe's where a bunch of other people that mod their cars meet up. Its less than a 5 minute drive from where we are at, pretty much the next exit on the highway. As I was passing the intersection the light was green on my part, so I kept going (my speed was about 30mph from what I remember). Less than halfway into the intersection, this Stingray comes out of nowhere and decides to make a left turn... Next thing I see in the windshield are his Lights coming against mine. Too late to avoid the front end collision. Next thing I know I feel like everything is in slow motion and I hear a high pitch ring. (Sorta similar the way that happens in the game of COD lmao.) Both me and my passenger had our seatbelts, and we both hit our front airbags. If i'm not mistaken, all the airbags deployed minus the ones in the seats. The other driver failed to yield, and he is at fault. My passenger wanted to be taken by EMS cause she had immediate pain in her abdomen, as for me, I told them I was fine. My parents end up taking me to BAMC (Brooks Army Medical Center) just go get checked up. As we were waiting to be called, I start to feel pain in my neck, upper and lower back. They check my body for anything unusual. As they checked each vertebrae, I had real pain on one of them, so I get X-rays taken, they couldn't make a decision on the looks of the X-Ray, so i can taken back for a Cat Scan. Luckily they found nothing and everything was ok. All they said was strained muscles from the whiplash. This is pretty much it, the way i see it, both cars are totaled. I really am gonna miss this car w/ all of the time and money invested into this car. Hopefully the process doesn't take too long, the guy has State Farm Insurance and I have Progressive.
Out of everything that happened. This makes me trust Toyota even more. The car I will be getting next will most likely be a Toyota/Scion depending how much we get from the insurance and what used cars are available in our area. I would love to stick to a white car! Any suggestions?
Eh, sorry for the loooong story, here are the pics:
