I have 1995 T100 3.4l . The dipstick that came with the truck doesnt read in operating range until I add 7 + quarts of oil. I've searched and even had the dealer check my vin to see if maybe their was an optional 7 quart pan, he couldnt find any. I know 5.5 qt is standard but it doesnt even register on the dipstick. Would soeone PLEASE help me out. If you have a 3.4 L T100 please tell me the length of your dipstick. Daughter moving up north on Suunday and i really need to find out. Thanks

Welcome to the forums! :)

Is this a 2WD or 4WD? Are you the orignal owner? Do you know any history about this truck? How many miles on the vehicle? Is this the orignal engine? If not, it's possible that the replacement engine came from one of the other 3.4L 5vzfe platforms. The T-100 2WD has a differnt oil pan from the other platforms as well as the dipstick location. Snap some piccies of the location of the dipstick and where it goes into the engine block and post them, please. Piccies of the oil pan would be nice as well. ;)
