Hey, i was wondering if it is possible to put the gauge cluster from an SR-5 into my 81 4x4. my current cluster does not have the tach. and thats what i want. thanks.

Yes you can, you just need to find a Donner truck 79 - 81.
I also prefer to use the speedometer that was originally in the truck by simply removing the dash plastic face and swapping them out this way you can keep the mileage correct
I have a spar cluster here but it is missing the clear plastic cover
