2010 Japanese built Rav4 with 115k.
While resting at a stoplight in the drive gear, my RPM's will dwindle to just above 500 and the idle vibration will get pretty strong. It feels as if it'll stall out/die, but never has. If I switch into neutral/park, the RPM's kick back up to around 700 and runs smooth.
Hotter temperature seems to increase the intensity of idle vibrations. Temperature gauge doesn't fluctuate and coolant as at the recommended level.
Does anyone have a hunch of what could be causing this? Thank you in advance.
