what other suspension modifications have you done?

IMHO, if you buy the $1000 top-of-the-line strut tower brace that even gives you s BJ as you roll down the road, it will barely improve handling at most.

 

I noticed a difference after I installed mine (TRD). It wasn't a night/day difference like after I put the TRD RSB on, but nonetheless I still noticed it. The front became stiffer obviously and felt that I had more control when cornering (less oversteer).

 

im on stock suspension... im looking into lower her that will come after chrismas...so would it be worth it even if im no stock suspension

IMO for the like 15 bucks on ebay, I think it is worth it. I also got it for aesthetics though, considering my entire engine bay is accented. I have the achem 15 dollar ebay one achem, and I actually like it. All matter of opinion. No real handling gain though. I also have the car slammed, so my handling gains are through the roof compared to stock...springs are best bet for introductory handling upgrades, then add some struts/shocks, and youll have some decent handling...

Does anyone know if those strut tower braces fit on the 1MZ engine??

 

Bigbird has/had one. he runs the 1MZ with a supercharger. Yes, it fits.

For the price they are asking for those, why not get it? You're looking at almost $30? That is pretty much free. Get it. I paid $135 for my TRD strut bar simply because I couldn't find any other one for sale that said it would fit my 2001 V6.

I would look on ebay. There are a TON of them for cheap on there. It might not be a TRD bar or the same quality, but you can't beat the price!
