I have a 96 T100 SR5 4x4.

My FL caliper keeps locking up with every brake replacement. Im on my 3rd caliper on that side. I was looking to see if anyone knows if SS brake lines are possible. Im getting tired of making hard lines that just corrode and twist as Im removing the line. Yes I have tried letting them soak with PB Blaster before removing.

Thanks for any help!

Doing a quick look up on ToyoDIY.com, this is what I discovered fer the 4WD T-100 front brake calipers:

47341B
TUBE, WHEEL CYLINDER, FRONT RH NO.1
47341-35100
1
$8.46

47343A
TUBE, WHEEL CYLINDER, FRONT LH NO.1
47343-35100
1
$8.46

These are the hard lines being referenced in this post. These hard line are attached to the caliper and an attachment bracket which the flex line attaches to and to the hard line from the master brake cylinder.

You can see them on this web page. ;)

So when you apply the brakes the caliper engages the brakes and then doesn't release?
Whats the rotors condition? What brand and source of caliper?
Brand and type of brake discs? Did the original caliper do the same, why were they replaced?
I guess we need to know what your definition of "seizing" is since calipers are pretty basic.

When I first got my rusted out truck, I thought the calipers were seized because one side of the pads were gone, and the other was almost untouched. I replaced both calipers and then realized afterwards that the calipers were fine, it was the pins that hold the pads in place that were rusted and wouldn't let the caliper slide. Might be a possibility that the pins are seizing.

I'm trying to replace brake lines on the front of a 1995 t100 rear wheel drive. The new line leaks from the bottom washer of the banjo bolt on the caliper. Put the old one back on and same leak. Will not tighten enough to stop it. Am i missing something? Help please! I'm ready to give up!
