What is the latest model 4wd Tercel on your forum? Some of the guys here and at the other forum have been contemplating a rwd swap or an awd setup from JDM parts. There's a member on TO with a 403hp 4a-gte in an 87. He's a member here as well but rarely posts.

Nah, was just pointing out that the 4agze swap had already been done on a Tercel, and it was converted to turbo.

 

88 was the last year.
You could probably use Sprinter Carib parts. Issue is we have longitudinal engine mounting whereas they are transverse. Might help with SOME of the body-stress concerns.
403 HP eh? He needs to come and talk to us...

Actually, it is not dead, just undergoing some changes - and this just started two weeks ago.
The "owner"/Administrator decided to try some alternate hosting services (excuse the lack of proper language here...) and has run into some snags.
We have been assured it will be back up, with no loss of the archived information - but with no date yet announced.
I am one of the Moderators, but can contribute nothing more.

I replaced one of the rear speakers some years ago and I think the cover was easy to remove; I just do not recall.
I've conversed with the other T4WD Club Moderators, dlb, Petros, and Mattel over the last few days and no one has had any contact with Neu, so still in the dark - but hopeful.

Hi Tom,
Speakers went in very easily, the grill at top pops off revealing in my case the four self tapping screws that secure into the speakers mounting brackets. It has been a while and wondering if you have any addition info on the Tercel 4 wheel drive forum?
