OP - i have done a few mods minor mods to mine. I plasti-dipped my chrome and added LED lights internally. I also added rhino rack roof rails. I would like to overland in mine but my wife talked me out of it. I have taken mine "off road" if you will but its more softroading and nothing extreme. My wife is going to let me get an older 4WD suv that i can mod way more and be a project car. Thinking a 4runner or Lexus GX470.

Yup, that, the grille and the emblems on the back (which was hard for me). I am thinking about doing the wheels black but have not committed yet. The roof rails i bought in black, but if your talking about the rail rails my HL did not have those like @kcripper 's.

i have the chrome rails and window trims i'm going to wrap somewhat soon...i got a great price to get it done.
