Just curious, commuting to work every day and doing allot of driving, other than body panels, how much difference is there between Corolla's and Camry's these days. I have seen Corolla's that look like they are just as big as a Camry, maybe an optical illusion, but, per say an Avalon still looks like a larger car than a Camry, but it seems like Corolla's have been ballooning in size over the years and they are not a "compact" car anymore.

Haha, The fat problem is hitting all developed countries where people do not do regular physical activity, It may have started in the United States, but it is hitting european and asian countries where people are working 8-5 office jobs now too. You can't blame America or the United States for that.

I believe the current (2019) Camry and Corolla are built on the same platform, the TNGA platform. While they'll be still be completely different cars, they share a large part of their underlying skeleton with each other.

Good points mentioned above. Just want to add that current Camry’s are still slightly bigger inside than present Corolla’s has better NVH (less noise, vibration, harshness).

I chose a Corolla over a Camry because I can get a manual and the MPG is better.
