So it appears that for 2013 there is a 6 in. touchscreen in even the non-nav/non-Entune Tacomas. My question is: what functionality will this have? Has anyone played with one? Is it included on every Tacoma or just on the Sport/Off-road Value packages?

Display Audio — includes 6.1-in. touch-screen, AM/FM CD player with MP3/WMA playback capability, six speakers (four on Regular Cab), subwoofer on X-Runner, auxiliary audio jack, USB port [1] with iPod® [2] connectivity and control, and hands-free phone capability, phone book access and music streaming via Bluetooth® [3] wireless technology

So basically audio and Bluetooth features. Looks like this is the standard option.

Oh I do know that OEM is more expensive - not my first rodeo, it tis most of the time. Just curious if it would fit - would assume so but one should never assume :D

That being said, I'm past the "doesn't fit with interior" decks that look so out of place.

I put in a non-oem deck in my Jetta and thankfully always removed the face plate from the car but after 2 break in's it's just not worth it.

I really like the OEM look of the aftermarket windows CE unit but the OS is dated. The Android one looks great function wise but alas just looks like a black brick thrown in a grey dash. There are a lot of double din's to look at besides the chinese units. It can be fun at times to mess around updating the chinese/android units but sometimes you just want it to work

Hey if someone writes off a 2013 I'll be looking for parts :)
