These pictures might be hard to look at because it still hurts me everytime i look...well anyways heres the story with some pics:

I was driving down I-90 on my way to work the day after our big noreastern storm and out of no where some chunk of ice or a rock came flying at my car. I had no where to go and at first i thought it did nothing but hit and roll up my windshield. I was more concerned with my windshield being cracked but it seemed fine. I thought nothing of it and then i got to work and when i looked back to lock my car i noticed this gaping hole underneath the right headlight. I almost broke down into tears it hurt me so bad because this bumper was just replaced last March! I guess im fortunate enough that it was just the bumper though and not the headlight or any metal part of the car.

I already ordered another bumper that night and as soon as i get it i will paint it and install it. So it shouldn't look ugly for to long but heres the damage:

Damn that sucks Frank (I know I90 where you are well). I was on it yesterday and some arsehole lost a monster piece of snow and ice off his truck, thankfully it hit the pavement before my truck and I just ran over it

The good news is that you are safe. A lot worse could have happened. I hate it when stuff like this happens. Eventhough the damage is to a small part of the bumper the entire car starts looking like crap.
BTW, don't know if this ever happened to anyone else but i hate it when people don't clear the snow off their car's roof. On the highway big chunks of snow and or ice start flying off and usually onto other people's cars. Those ignorant assholes should be stripped naked and thrown into the snow.
