i ripped apart my rolla today..... took off the whole dash out.... tightened each and every nut , taped all factory wirings , added foaming to places which could possibily produce those creaking noise. reassembled everything .... but still the noise remains....

to me , the noise seems to appear from the front dash... it sound like two pieces of foam or plastic rubbing together... but now i am very much sure its not from the dash since i have left nothing in there to creak!

can there be a possibility tht the suspension is damaged? mayb the spring rubs against the body or the shock creating creaking noise inside the car?

Hi

They have at least two Bulletin concerning Corolla Dashboard noise. From what I remember there is a bolt dead center at the base of the windshield, this one can cause a knocking sound when temperature is cold. It is solvable.

Second thing they have "crack body joint" on my car wich solve the balance of the noise in the dashboard section.

Also done insulating the headliner, and passenger door and cutting a bolt under driver seat.

That's about it. If your dealer don't seem to find what is going on. Just give your money to someone else. That is what I have done an my rattles problem are now solved.
