Tire pressure dropped 6lbs due to 30 degree temp change seems excessive for Nitrogen filled tires, also why doesn't the pressure reedings show up on LCD display but does show on phone

Boyle's law applies to all gases, 100% nitrogen and 80/20 N/O alike. Nitro fill is the biggest scam of auto consumers or is it the air swirler

All N-filled tires get a consumer is that they will leak slightly less over time rather than our precious breathing air, difference between the two over a year is 1 psi. It does not protect one from seasonal temperature influenced pressure changes...

Agreed, unless the tire was mounted in a nitrogen filled room, it won't be 100% nitrogen. And as stated above, physics still apply. Less susceptible maybe, but not worth the $

The only time I get the Nitrogen fill is when I get tires at Costco, and then only because it’s free. Never would get it if I had to pay for it. Won’t pay for air at gas stations either, have inflators in each car and little pancake compressor in garage. But then again, I am a cheap old bastard.:p And I routinely go 2psi. above the placard pressure when cold.

My nearest Costco has 4 air pumps... errr nitrogen pumps.... in parking lot, "Free as the air". You don't even have to show your card, indicating nitrogen fill is very low cost
