What is the top speed for this car? Can it reach 130 mph. The fastest i went with it was 103mph.

do not attempt high speed runs unless you have decent suspension (not 15 years old) and damn good brakes. No car is meant to hold up to a 90+ mph wreck, you are just asking to get hurt.

Goverened tom 110? Must be a freaking cali Car!

110 in both a '92 sedan and '96 Wagon. Still accelerating.

damn wtf...believe it or not in a v6 1mz auto, i got it up to about 132...on the 73 N in southern cali if anyone knows where that is (it is a good road)...and then my buddy in his G35 finally passed me going 150 (he was still accelerating lol)...and it didnt take me that long to hit the 130 mark either...i hit 110 without any problems, 100 is a walk in the park for my car...

PS, not many power mods at all...maybe an extra 30-40 HP max

I have new shocks, when i had new tyres, new brakes etc, I hit 195 km/h. I thought it was quite common for these cars to be able to clock the speedo. Have i done something i should be proud of? I was just testing mine out.

Btw, my car is stock standard. no mods (though i've got a few additional leaks and a lot of sludge that are after market - so to speak.)

250 000km, 2.2 4sp

my 1998 1mz-fe, s/c, injen intake, headers and full exhaust shifts into o/d at around 118, and the ecu fuel cut governs me at 136 so i don't know the actual top speed of the car since its still climbing when the governor kicks in.:D

i am looking into a hks sld, but have yet to install it, i'll let everyone know when i get one.

and thats on the 5-speed imagine with the auto+5sfe= could fall asleep trying to see that needle go further down lol... nice quote " so stock it hurts"
Yeah even with the manual it took long enough that I actually forgot I was still accelerating. It was a while ago that I did it but I would say it probably took me 4 or 5 miles to get up to max speed.

My 99 5s-fe was always slow to top out. There is always lightweight flywheels for you guys with 5spds, and in general I think ripp mod was making a centrifegul supercharger and a nice set of headers for the 5s, but its been a while since I've done any tuning with the 5s-fe.

yup.. but from what i experinced, you can have it off till certain speend then it kick in automatically. also it'll have improve the mpg but keeping the rpms as low as can for the speed your travaling at. like on mine if i go about 41-44 it'll be at 1500 -1800 rmps depend on how much load i have...

I had 95 Camry with the 2.2 and a 5spd. I got it to 120 and it seemed to shut down at that point. At 120 and it seemed like it wasnt getting enough gas to go faster but it coulda been me. It had 164K when I did it I thought it was impressive for a 2.2 lol
