Good morning.
so I did lower ball joints and outer tie rods on the 2002. I also have a set of 2019 16” trd wheels and tires. The tires are stock sequoia size.
around 30-40 mph, the traction control starts freaking out Until I come to a stop.
Is the offset of the wheels causing an issue? Any ideas? I thought about disconnecting the battery for a while. I don’t notice any rubbing.

I'm using my Corvette as my reference for traction issues since my Toyota's are to old. I doubt that difference would cause an issue although the Corvette crowd try's to stay within 5 mm.
If you use spacer I'd recommend the Bora brand. A .375 would be 9.5 mm or you could go .25 which is 6.3 mm.
I have no basis for this but I can't see that difference messing with the traction control. Guys are running crazier combos than that. By 2008? Sequoia were on 18's with an ET 60.
Clear the ECM via the battery or pulling the EFI rely, doesn't take long and see if the modules adapt. Is it throwing Chassis codes, any codes?

My bet is that spacers don't fix your problem. I've used different offset rims and/or wheel spacers and nothing affected the TRAC and VSC. People change rims all the time with different offsets and never have an issue. Did you get an alignment after changing the tie rods and ball joints? Did you do a zero point calibration? Both things worth looking in to before spacers.

ok. so heres an update. i apologize for the delay. i unplugged the traction control and limped her to the alignment shop where i put the new tires on stock wheels. after alignment it was all gravy. both front wheels were kicked in toward eachother. i thought i counted the threads right etc. alignment dude said theres a good chance it could be off anyway even with counting threads.
