dude just check ebay they are all basically the same you dont need to waste so much $$$ on one they have SPW ones on Ebay for the v6 and i4 for like $40 the ones on ebay for $20 are decent enough for everyday driving

I have a TRD one, but I haven't tried the others. There's barely any difference during normal driving. The difference with and without one is very minute that unless you're thrashing your car in the corners, you probably won't notice it.

Unless you want it for show, the other bars are probably the same.

Another option is to get a Whiteline rear sway bar. YOu will notice more difference from this mod than a strut tower bar.

 

Strut tower bar is only felt when you do hard turns.

Regular driving, you won't feel it.

 

and only if ya chassis is old and tired, new cars are nice and rigid =)

 

you only need the trd one if your s/c due to clearance issues from other stut bars. if your not s/c and don't plan on it, get an ebay one!

 

ebay pretty much does the same job. Be sure not to get some bar that weighs only like 1 pound...those will simply flex with the chasis on a hard turn making it practically useless...

And if you want your car to be all Toyota then get the TRD...otherwise if you just want it to work...u can save money and go ebay.

 

SPW and Arospeed are my other choices...

 

ebay 1. TRD bar is nice but your just paying for the name. Not worth it in my opinion.

 

Like other ppl said, most of them are nearly the same. You're just paying more for the name, that's all.

I believe the strut bar will be more helpful if you plan to buy a rear sway bar since your car is lowered. There's also a front sway bar to consider as well, but I'm not sure how that handles.

 

I'd get the RSB and the Strut tower brace. You suspension is going to feel VEEERY good.

 

wait...so are you lowered too, or did you just change the struts?

 

no i just changed the struts... my car sits higher then ever actually... i might lower it...

yeah, i just ordered an ebay strut tower bar and the whiteline rsb, so, we'll see what it does for my gen 3, but i've been under the impression that in most cases a strut bar is a strut bar... anyhow, i'll let you all know if i notice any differences when i install my stuff.
