is your car surging?

Yes, I noticed every time that I applied on brake to slow down (but not full stop) then applied lightly on gas pedal, the car was surging.

 

Is it the 1MZ with VVT-i?

It's for 1MZ with VVT-i only. I did not see TBS for 1MZ without VVT-i

 

The Engines with VVT-i always have some sort of kick back or surging or watever u wanna call it.....I think its just cause the ECM is changing the cam to prepare for idle....

I notice it on the 4 Cyl with increase engine load (A/C on) But otherwise i don't notice it at all.

Unfortunately that I do not have access to TBS for detail how to fix it. If any one have more information about EG008-03 "Engine controls: Light throttle surging condition" please post it.

If any 2003 1MZ-FE prduced BEFORE production change effective VINs

My VIN number is higher than the one specified, probably I do not have the surge problem
