I´ve had two yotas, an ´89 Hilux DC 2.4 diesel and now I have a ´90 Hilux DC 2.4 diesel.
My first yota had 32" tires and minimal lift, I wrecked that truck and tore it to pieces. My second truck had a blown engine, so I put the engine, gearbox and transfercase from my old one in the new one.
My current truck is riding on 33" tires on 12,5" wide rims. I just need to do a little bodywork to fit 36" tires, cut the fenders and get bigger fenderflares. Lower diffs would be good but not necesary(spelling?).
It has the following mods:
A custom front bumper with a chrome grillguard.
Tubular rear bumper.
Aluminum running boards.
Garmin GPS 128.
Benco CB.
Cobra VHF.
Panasonic Alpha Tuner headunit.
Sirius HID headlights.
Alpine 2-way speakers in frontdoors.
Alpine Type-E speaker in OEM dash location
33" Goodyear Wranglers, siped and studded.
Custom seatbrackets and seats with more support.
SnugTop bedtop.
Roofrack with mounting points for antennas and lights and they also hold the my shovels.
100psi airpump with undercab airtank.
K&N airfilter.
Custom 2.25" exhaust.
Cooler between frontseats.
4Runner chrome frontend.
Larger radiator.
Axle breathing moved up to hood and bed.
8" Driving lights, frontend.
Hella foglights, frontend.
8" Hella 4000 spotlights, roofrack.
Hella Jumbo 210 drivinglights, roofrack.
Some perimeter lighting.
12V outlet in the bed.
Lights inside bed.
Airintake moved to highest point in hood, no snorkel yet.
Large aluminum toolbox.
HiLift jack.
There are more mods but I can´t remember what they are.
I´m 20 years old, I work as a nightclub bouncer and I´m a member of ICE-SAR. My backyard has plenty of spareparts scattered all over it, to my dads dismay. Dont know what more to say so I won´t.
