Has anybody got upgraded front brakes installed?

Anything to make them better.

I put Paseo brakes on the front of my '89 Tercel. They are 10mm larger diameter. I never drove the car with the original brakes so I am not able to make a comparison, but I want more.
My other car is a '90 V6 Camry, now that has wonderful brakes. I am looking for feel like that.
I tried the Paseo master cylinder and booster but they won't fit in the space available.

I think larger bore calipers would give a better pedal feel and response. Maybe off a Corolla or something else. ???

I like the idea of the Starlet rear disk mod but I am more interested in improving the front since those usually do about 65-70% of your stopping.

I have PowerStop rotors with KVR Semimetallic-Kevlar pads and a Starlet rear disc swap on my Paseo. My car stops great, but I'm going to have FastBrakes make me a front brake kit with bigger rotors and 4 piston calipers. The cost is under $1500, good when compared to the $2000 Micro 6 piston caliper Endless kit for the Starlet.

I might can get 4 piston brake system less 1000. I mean kit come with
280mm ebc rotor
Wilwood 4 piston caliper
Ebc brake pade
Goodridge brake line.

I am thinking about the group buy. We might need 10 people. I am not sure. I have to wait for the answer for the compay.
Oh I fotgot to tell u the brake kit is for starlet( ep82 or ep91) . I think we can use it for ours paseo or tercel. I could be wrong . So anyway anyone interstand?
Let me know thanks.

 That is about half of what my car cost me so far, including the engine and suspension swap. I was thinking a little cheaper. I would have a hard time convincing my other half that it was practical to put $1500 brakes on a $125 car.

The bigger rotors and 4pot calipers do sound good though. :naughty:

Fensport has an upgrade for the starlet which should match the Paseo but I have been unable to get in touch with them as far as pricing is concerned!! I would be interested in a group buy if you can get one started. However, can this upgrade include an upgrade for the rear also?? Now that would be one hell of an upgrade for any Paseo.

our car just worth 1500 and the engine worth 800(4e-fte) i know what u mean.i feel the samething bro. but someone might want it. caz they scare to die or kill someone u don't know.
onece u give more hp. u can't control the car. caz the oem brake for 105 hp. not for 200 hp.
well anyway i know price are too hight. that's why i ask myself so many time it's worth it or not.
i hope i can make it under 1000 with group buy. and i sure it's hard to get 10 people to buy it. caz too much money.
