Not sure exactly what setup you have in your 2013 but here's what I do on my 2011......

1.). Fan on
2.). A/C OFF
3.). Recirc button so that light is off (I truly hate that it always defaults to "on") which will allow external air in
4.). Temp for both drive and passenger turned to "LO" to eliminate any chance of heater influence

Done.

That's as close as you can get to the good ole days of simply sliding the recirc slider to "outside air".
