Was 2010 a good year or bad year for Camry V6?

Looking at buying a CPO 2010 LE V6 witk 44k miles for $15k. Any watch outs? Already have the carfax which is clear. Looks like it was owned by a commercial company.

Personally, I think the late 2000s were a bad year for Toyota in general. Cheap interior, numerous recalls, etc etc.

With that said, I own a 2010 Corolla hehe. I might trade it in for the 2014 when it comes about. I was a lot more comfortable and happy in a 2005 corolla.

If you can wait another year, I would wait for more 2013 camrys to be in the used market. If not, I would look at the gen 5 camry, or consider another brand.

Sorry, meant to say those were only for the 4cyl. The v6 is the one that had the vvti line issue and the transmission flares, both easily fixable (should already be done on the 2010+ camry's)

See my sig -have had ZERO issues with either Toyotas. Both reliable and low cost per mile to operate. I wouldn't hesitate to buy the car if the car fax is clean and your test drive goes well. You'll like the V-6 performance as well.

Excellent Price for CPO ! .. You'll love it

I hope it's not still riding on 16" steelies with plastic hupcaps. If it is, when you upgrade to 17" alloys and Michelin tires, it will feel like a $30,000 car.

My 09V6 with 56 miles is flawless. I cannot find a single excuse to go buy the car I really want ........... a 2013 Avalon with the same V6 !!!!!!!!!!

I hope you do as well with gas milesage as I do. 26 everyday; 30mpg at 75-80 highway ....... 33 highway if I use 93 Octane gas instead of 87.

Strike while the iron is hot

I'm at the dealership now. The car has some paint bruises, nothing crazy. The V6 is definitely peppy, I don't like the straining sound it makes while you're on it, but I'm sure the I4 sounds just as bad.

Here's the car.
The car is sweet looking .......... other than those 16 Steelies with plastec hupcaps ......... that is probably why the thing is so cheap.. You are buying below retail.

Since CPO .......... they probably put new tires on .. What kind are they?

That is the best deal I ever heard of for a used V6. Keep up with your oil changes and the car will last forever.

Oh, its being bought right now, lol. So I'm trading in my 2011 Mustang GT, getting $21000 for it which is fair because the rear tires are shot and there's a dent in the hood. So I owe $15773 on it, I'm taking a check for the difference. But what's awesome is the car is $14899 + $69 (registration) OTD (no tax/ad valerom) since the car I'm trading in is more than the car I'm buying. Plus my $5k check. Ballin... This car will cost me over $200 less a month due to the smaller not and gas savings. Makes the fact I'm having a kid soon even better.

Good for you.

I hope you enjoy your new Camry at least half as much as I enjoy mine with 56K miles.

And ............. it will be SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO much easier to put that new car seat for your baby due to the fact you now own a four door car!

These are fantastic vehicles.

Yeah, give me some time. I drove my 2011 mustang modded for over a year. Returned it stock just over a week ago and now I just drove my camry home. The modded mustang was an absolute beast (12.15 at 115mph in the 1/4 mile), stock it went low 13s, and now the camry which does mid 14s.

The one obvious thing is I cannot take turns nearly as fast. There's a lot of factors affecting that, but I'm sure the 235 front and 285 rear tires I had on the mustang helped a lot.

Get the UR rear sway bar and maybe the strut bar, should help out a lot.
