Duals are great when they're setup right, but like Amerikim mentioned, it could very well take over a year to get it all "right".
The problem is that there are some 7+ areas of adjustability, on each cylinder, and this can lead to MANY combinations, with one being the good one.
idle jets
idle air jets
main jets
emulsion tubes
air corrector jets
venturis
accelerator pump jets
accelerator pump bleed-back
accelerator pump springs
Not worth the time, IMO, unless you have lots of it to spend, with stinky-gas fingers too!
Maybe you could find a 3TG somewhere still, they used to be $300 in the improt junkyards.
