I just had first snow fall like everyone else here in the Northeast. These tires SUCK... I mean suck suck. Like really suck suck suck.

Anyway, I though I was getting something better when I went with the OFF ROAD package. I should have known. I'm gonna swap these out the first chance I get. My question is, what did you guys do with your tires? I mean they might be crap, but they only have 3000 miles on them. I really need to find something to do with them to justify spending anywhere from 600-800 dollars.

Right now its between the
BFG AT T/A KO, the Bridgestone Dueler AT Revos and the General Grabber AT 2 all is stock size.

Shoot away... I will suck up this weekends storm with this craptastic tires, but not the next.

Thanks

Currently sitting in my basement, waiting for someone on Craig's List to email me/call me and take them off my hands.

BTW - snow is coming down pretty heavy right now....fun drive up to the mountains tonight, the BFG M/T's are going to get a workout!!!

Getting the Revo's installed tomorrow morning, my rugged trails have 22K on them and I could get another season out of them. I just need something better especially with winter here in PA. Better to be safe than sorry. I will probably keep the rugged trails for a yard sale in the spring.

i got 50K miles out of my rugged trails, never had any problems with winter driving, rain driving, dry driving. of course, when it got really icy, i would slide a little bit, but it was never really bad.

now i have the all terrains and have yet to see any really slippery conditions with them yet. i expect them to provide better traction and wear hopefully just as long or longer.

I had the Michelin LTX A/T (predecessor to the LTX A/T2) on my T-100. Good tires all around. Unfortunately the A/T2's have been getting horrible reviews (ie TireRack). I noticed that Costco sells them, but leery about all the bad press. If you are a Michelin fan, check out the Michelin M/S. They've been getting good reports from other people on this forum...

Me, despite being a long term Michelin user, I'm going with the Revo's.

Good luck.

REVO!!!! I love mine so far. Best handling tire I've ever had in the rain. Don't know about snow since we get very little of it here in TN.

Also, if you check tirerack, you'll find that the Revo's are hard to beat. I like checking tirerack since actual customers review the tires.

Yeah I was looking at Tirerack and the Revos get better reviews. Also, when I was a member of NPORA (Nissan Pathfinder Off Road Association) he Revos was all anyone could talk about. But I guess it all depends on the vehicle as well. I'm thinking of the BFG's... I will throw the Rugged Trails on Craigslist tomorrow. I'm sure they should sell quick. Not every one can drop 700-800 for tires. $300 for local pickup should be a great deal for practically new tires..
