I passed 60K miles a couple of months ago, and believe it or not, I think I’m starting to hear a very faint, almost whisper-like whining sound when driving between 40 and 60 mph and accelerating.

Before it gets too loud, I’m thinking about selling or trading it in at the dealer.

What do you think is a reasonable trade-in price? (hopefully the dealer won’t notice the whining sound.)

The car is in good condition, with regular maintenance — ATF fluid replaced at 55K.

I have seen online offers around 20K~22K (bought new for 37K in 2020)

Start here.
Use you VIN for a more exact value. Bear in mind that most aftermarket accessories or options you have added don't help resale value, no matter how much the costed you.
Most dealers will match KBB if you show them a screenshot.
Also, get an instant quote from Carvana. This will typically the low end value.
When you trade in a car at a dealer, you only pay sales tax on the difference between the new car and your trade in. So if you buy a $40k car and your trade in is $22k, you only pay sales tax on the difference ($18k) instead of the full value of the new car.
