What is an easy wax for me to use?

I have a 98 Avalon, and I really don't want to spend a couple hours waxing it like last time, it was just a pain in the ass. Is that Turtle Wax ICE stuff any good, I mean it looks easy, but is it a good enough product to protect my paint in Chicago weather? Or is there something else easier and better?

Meguiars NXT Tech Wax is the easiest wax I've used to apply and buff off. Foam applicator pads makes application easier

That's not real wax. Don't waste your time or money.
He asked for the easiest one to use so I told him that.

For me personally, I will not use it at all.

The wax I use is Black Magic Wet Shine. It's hard to use but it does an excellent job on the car.

Head over to Wal-Mart and pick up some FX SynWax -- it's easier to apply than NXT and lasts longer. If you've never clayed, pick up the Mothers Clay Bar kit while you're there.

i really like using the eagle1 nanowax( after clay bar and a polish, of course.) makes the surface very smooth and shiny. water beads on it really good also!

Applying wax too thick can make the job a lot harder. Most people apply the wax too thick. Apply the wax thin and in straight lines, not circles. Apply it to cool paint in the shade.
hey pb, im straight on doing the job in the shade, but do you think weather can play a big factor ?im planning on doing the detailing while im in vegas. and the weather reaches around 120+ so do you think the temp in my garage will affect it ? oh and if its any help, i have 2 industrial fans running in there while im working. thanks !

If you can touch your hand to the paint without it hurting your hand then you should be fine.
Well, today I waxed my black 07 SE V6 Camry in direct sunlight around noon. Probably not as hot as Arizona or Las Vegas but still hot nontheless. Well, after washing and drying the car there were streaks everywhere. I tried to wash/dry as quickly as possible but one side would completely dry before I could even finish one panel. I finally gave up and started using the ICE quick detailer I used last month for the very 1st time on my SS Trailblazer. If youre looking for ease of use, this stuff rocks. No streaks and I could spray it on liberally without having to worry about the rubber/glass parts. After spraying, I would spread it around with one microfiber towel then follow it up with another until it shines. I know there are better products out there but for a quick turnaround in between details, this ICE stuff works great:thumbup:
