There were some 1993 MR2 E153's that came with LSD and shorter ratio between gears plus overall stronger gears.
You'll need to do some research on which one (with the LSD) but word has it that they bolt up to the V6 as noted above.

 

If you use an mr2 transmission you will have to modify for a camry style shift linkage. The bell housings are different too, but similar. I can confirm a camry e153 can be modified for rwd, and that a 1mz will bolt up to an mr2 e153, but I cannot confirm if the opposite is true.

 

Also fidanza makes a nice aluminum flywheel for the 1mz (#130881) and there are many performance clutches available for the mr2 turbo, which work just fine with the 1mz and above mentioned flywheel. I am currently running a Exedy 16953a and the fidanza. It is easy to drive but not completely smooth or quiet if that matters to you. Expect chattering during street type driving.

The Camry E153 has an accumulator on the clutch line that you can/ should bypass for a more direct driving experience - especially if you install a performance clutch with the goal of making launches more consistent.

 

The MR2 Turbo with the E153 LSD wasn't sold in US markets so it's pretty unlikely to find one in the US.

Anyone put LSD in their E153 Trans?

Currently have turbo E153 trans. but it non LSD. Has anyone tried buying an aftermarket LSD and install it into the E153? Or is it better just to buy E153 LSD with axle for $1200? I was looking at KO racing site and they modify the non LSD axle to get cut into length to be able fit into LSD for...

Quaife LSD Install into an E153

So back when Prodigy was buying all the parts for his swap, he decided to go with an E153 tranny and Quaife LSD. However, he decided to move the timeframe up on the 3S swap we weren't ready to put the E153 in, so we ended up doing the swap using the S54 (swap was done in 22 hours over 3 days)...

Wow, thanks a lot to everyone for the info. I love learning all I can about my cars. I studied the vac system, now I don't need tape labels. Can I use MR2 Turbo parts? I have a Non-VVTI 1mz-fe. Does that matter?

 

Not sure what your question is.
Are you asking if you can use an E135 manual transmission from a turbo MR2 in your Camry? The answer was given above: the shift cable housing on the top of an MR2 E153 is facing the opposite way from what you need for a Camry/Solara.
Below is a photo of mine (Camry). Note the shift cable connection is to the right in this photo.
If you got one from an MR2 it would be facing to the left (front of your car).
