well i havent been at this forum too long and this topic must have been do by now,but i wasnt around.

well i own i gen 3, i bought it because i like the gen 3 body style much more than the gen 4 and the gen 5 is a little out of the reach of my wallet. if it werent for the gen 3 i would probably have a civic. so for me its the gen 3, i like the gen 5 but it is much too bulky.

Personally, I love the Gen 2. the newer ones just look like any other newer car - very round (almost just looking fat).

I'd almost own a gen 1 before gen 3 or later. Of course I never want to own a car that is newer than about '91 or '93 (whenever airbags were made mandatory in US sold cars - practically my whole family is too short to have the airbag help rather than hurt).

Of course, I really want a '64-'67 VW Type-3, so I'm already prone to more old-school.

But then again, whatever floats your boat, it's only my opinion.

i dont think that any of us are biased at all :) haha.

i like the gen 3 for these reasons:
-sporty interior
-sleek exterior
-driving it, it feels more solid than other gens
-bodykit selection
-style

i guess thats about it... any non gen 3 owner should not take offense either- none was meant. solely my opinion :)

I love the ALL! That's why I have Gen2-4 on my driveway

Seriosly, overall, I like the Gen3. The way the ctr console is angled towards the driver is perfect! The car was built without cutting ant corners. It's a solid car inside and out.

The G2s are extremely reliable cars that came avail in AWD 8)

Early Gen4 are at the bottom of my list. Toyota cut too many corner with this car to reduce the price (ie. cheap lights, interior, alot of plastic) They improve the G4 in '00-'01 but that was too late. The only thing the G4 has going for it is S/C availabilty.

I LOVE the G5s but I think they are alittle over priced. The personally like the styling. It's very fresh, yet not too funky. Only grip is the fact that it looks out of propartion. The wheels look stupid small on the car. Also lack of V6 stick is a turn off.

But the cream of the crop and my dream Camry would be a Ragtop V6 MT Solara SC'd with TRD pkg

I like my Gen3 because it's elegant. *cough* *cough*

It's not too round but not boxy either.

Gen5 is nice but somehow it looks too fat stock.

I think Gen3 has the best power/weight ratio, too bad the 1MZ didn't come with 5spd!

My favorite is the Gen 4s and Gen5s. Specifically the Gen4 cause i drive one and also JT Autostyle has the Skyline kit for it.

Don't be shy to say it, but my jaws dropped when I see your Gen5.

Those wheels and the drop changed the complete look of the car 200%+ better.[/quote]

Thanks.. looks makes up for the performance I lack

the best is gen3. Mainly because i got one but also it's the best looking stock camry. Nice sleek design, and it ain't as boxy as the gen4 in my opinion. Then there's the gen5, just gotta get used to that before i like it. The gen2 is not bad. Pretty lean, kinda reminds me of the last generation corolla (not the 2003 one, but prior to that). Anyways, that's just what i think, :) don't get mad at me :D

i have to say i like the Gen5 the most. i just LOVE it. my sister-in-law is getting one soon (she told me today shes always wanted a camry - hehe). anywho. I really like the gen3 tho. i have one... and i dunno.. i just like em... i dont like the gen4's that much... and unless you put alot of money into a gen2 or earlier, then it just looks to old for me. thats just me tho.

I loved my Gen2. That car totally ruled. It was rock-solid until I broked it

I also like my Gen4 a lot, more for the sleeker design though. I think the stock suspension in the Gen2 I had totally kicks the arse of the suspension in my Gen4.. soon to be fixed as of this Tuesday though :)

Not to say I haven't seen any totally sick looking Gen3's and Gen5's.......

I'm a fan of the boxy cars though.
