not much at all....

i you have an auto, do a 5spd swap

other than that, unless you want to spend some serious $$$ there's not much you can do to make it fast....why not concentrate on making it look good instead? ;)

not a whole lot you can do, shy of major things...ie turbo, nitrous, etc. exhaust upgrade won't yield major gains....focus on stereo and looks...suspension is always a good idea though

actually, check the free mod posts...might be worth it for you

i got rims and my bugget is 2000 i had exhuast and got a ticket i had 2.25 from the headers back what else can i do internal wise i might get a brake upgrade

body kit.....that would do it, clear corners and red and white tails.....i4 performance.....not possile for noticible gains unless your budget is 5 grand

i would go with a new suspension. thats the biggest difference for the least amount of money. its also probably the best way to change the driving feel of your car. less pitch and dive under accel and braking. total cost if you DIY: $5-600. eibach springs are only $200 then figure 3-400 on the new struts.

two words: Electric Turbo

no seriously, their isnt much you can do, other than cosmetics. You could also do some suspension work on a tight budget (ex. strut bar, springs, etc). The exhaust is another good idea, you could go with a cat back system for relatively cheap.

electric turbo....tornado....bukakke....it is all the same. SHIT, don't waste thoughts or money on it

Search for the word "boke", you'll find instructions on doing an ACIS mod. Not sure if it applies to i4's.

Have you tried tightening your throttle kick down cable? It will make the car feel more responsive between shifts.

Other than that, a new header and catback will give you a tiny increase in midrange+ power and porting the intake path may help with any future mods, especially forced induction.

Make the looking a bit out of stock... What I mean is to make it real clean... all black, what you think? You can begin with NO side molding. You see the line on the front and rear bumper? how about clearing them out?

Let me shed some light...
-Web Cams gets some high lift's
-3 Angle Valve Job
-Over Sized Valves
-Raise compression
-Big bore throttle body or Individual throttle body with custom intake box
-Port and Polish intake and exhaust
-5spd swap
-Bore out engine block 0.40 over and upgrade pistons
-Up the Stroke on the motor
-Mil-Spec wiring ( adds 20whp alone ... but cost arm and a leg)
-Ignition system upgrade
-Re-chipped ecu or stand alone unit...
-Convert to running Methanol or Alcohol ( $7 to $8 bucks a gallon and a 18 Gallon tank should only last 50miles)

After that you'll be close to 220whp but at what rpm can you push it up too ???
