I have heard from many people that it is either good or bad to run high octane in a japanese car. I heard from mechanics that the higher the octane level the better the car will run and the less things that go wrong with it. But i have also heard from people that higher octane levels are harder on the pistons of japanese cars and cause eventual cracking and wear. Is this true?
I currently run either 89 or 91, and dont put 87 in could this be bad or good? what does everyone else put in their corollas?
