Sorry if this has been posted over and over. Havnt been around much but looking to put some lowering springs on my car. My car is a 03 but when i had coilovers i swapped them out for money + suspension (long story what happan with mine) but anyways the suspension i got was off a 05 camry. So i believe i need the gen 5.5 springs? What you guys recommend? I know eibachs tend to leave a gap in the front any others ? I know ebay sells some megans for like 90.. Just wanted to see what your guys input and what your running and pics would be nice thanks!

Ok im kinda confused the struts are diferent so the springs are too correct? So why does ebay have the same set of springs from 02-06 camry?LOL Sorry for being a newb

example these-

Because its a different model camry and the suspension components change but not where the spring sits.

Yes those will fit you car if its from 02 till 06
If you want to get shocks 02-03 are different than from 04-06 model camry's even though 04 camry its still gen 5 not 5.5 its still different in that compartment than 02-03 but the same as the newer generation 5.5

Hope that answers your questions:D

Yeah I know what sound you are talking about. I tried everything and basically replaced everything from strut mount to the struts. The only thing I did not replace was the springs the sound still came back shortly after. The sound goes away for a while and then comes back. Later after studying the suspension well I saw that the springs moved when you turned the wheel and that is how camry suspension is designed, you can also see when you open your hood the strut mount moving when you turn the wheel and it also moves the spring unlike other cars with shocks that the spring seats at a certain position and does not move at all. That is why also because I had poor quality springs called MEGAN RACING caused that knocking sound as it adjusted to the weight when you turned the wheel and turned the car and caused a knocking sound. Thankfully I got BC Racing Coilovers and slammed my car : )

I did....it was my strut mount...was broken...and it eventually snapped my spring in half...900$ later the whole front suspension has been replaced...and it is perfect.

Eibach covered my spring breakage under their million mile warranty
