Gosh I would think it would be a discount and not markup on the time since as you know GM isnt doing to well

GXP G8 is an awesome car. Corvette LS2 engine 415 HP, Brembo brakes with great looks that look like a copy of the new M3 for $40k. Considering it costs over $20K less than an M3 and the performance is not too far behind, it is a bargain. However, that $10k markup is just plain silly since it defeats the purpose of "value for the money".

So??? Many sports cars these days are 4 door sedans. Funny some of them are actually faster than their coupe counterparts because of better structural rigidity. For example, Tsuchiya san lapped faster with the M3 sedan than he did with the M3 coupe back to back.

This is an awesome car. Except for one thing: the front end. The Pontiac grille is totally outdated and the hood scoops look funny.

The rear end, side, interior and just overall stance and look of the car is very nice...performance isn't bad either.

But that markup is crazy!

Its also an EBay auction:

Quote from the ebay listing:

” As it’s limited in availability, we want a lot of people to be able to see it. We already had people offering to pay sticker ($41,590) but it would have been gone the first day and there are so few of them we want all the people that have been eagerly awaiting it to be able to come down and check it out in person.”

I'd love to drive a regular G8 let alone a GXP version, it should be significantly better than a Grand Prix. Still...I don't know how that dealer can justify stealing $10,000 without the guy knowing. For $50,000 the guy could have bought something considered of higher value like a Porsche Boxster.
