Is it still 2NZFE / 1NZFE?

I believe it the 1NZFE, but don't quote me to that but the way you put it its the same engine code or family so maybe I don't know, all I know is I see 1NZFE under the hood of my ECHO. I live in the U.S. so we only get the 1.5ltr so maybe that would effect my anwser to your question.

 

Yes, both use the 1NZ, and the same C series manual transmissions...I would guess the slush boxes are the same too, but never bothered to look.

Yaris uses C50 vs Scion's C150...

The Scion does not use a C150 ... The Echo does ... Dude what is up with your problem with facts man ...

the 6 in the C56 means really nothing its the same freaking tranny wether its a C50 or a C56 ...

p.s. stop trying to correct someone when they've actually done work to there car ... and has hands on experience...
