So I just got my 1991 SR5 extended cab V6 4x4. I noticed that if I turn the steering wheel full lock to one side and go over a bump (like 3") I hear a grinding noise. Does not happen if your just going full lock on a smooth surface and only happens at full lock over a bump.
Any ideas? One person told me tierods for these years are too long? I dunno, just seems like it lets you turn too far. I'll avoid doing that for now but hoping there's a permanent fix for it.
