ever since i started on my rear deck panel i wasn't sure if i wanted to paint it or wrap it with material. i painted it but it looks ugly so now i was thinking of wraping it with suede. i also want to wrap all the pillars inside the car with black suede. where can i buy this-online or in a store?

If you do the rear deck it will fade real bad. I did mine in cotton and had to re-do it in cloth just like what comes on seats. The sun beats right on it. Suede would look cool on the pillars, just spray them with 3M adhesive and lay it on. Let us know how it turned out.

^that is "fake" suede. Meaning it isn't real leather. That is why it is so inexpensive.

As far as "grading" goes he is refereing to quality of material. This includes but is not limited to: thickness, quality of color, colorfastness (if you sit on it is it gonna wear off on your jeans/or hold its color), imperfections per unit, etc. etc. Some of the finest leather comes from parts of the world wear the cattle are NOT retained by barbed wire fencing (causes scarring/marring of the leather). These are all things to consider.

suede would probably be a horrible choice of material to put in direct sunlight for long periods of time. I imagine after a month, the suede would be very faded, start to dry up and look horrible.
