Where/how should I drill/place tweeters? 2010 Corolla LE 4-speaker system

I have a stock 2010 Corolla with the standard circle speakers in the front, 6X9s in the back. I bought some speakers that do not have the tweeters built into the woofer for the front speakers so I need some ideas on where to put them, etc. Any pictures of how anybody has done it would be the biggest help. The speakers that I bought are 5-1/4" two-way loudspeaker components (Infinity Kappas)

I can mount the woofers in the door no problem, and I can wire the crossovers that came with it... WHERE DO I PUT THE TWEETERS

I have to drill in the metal of the door... and poke holes in the actual door panel cover for sound to come through it??? Ideas and information PLEASE AND THANK YOU

if the tweeters are separate just put them where the stock ones are

I dont have tweeters. I have 4 speakers, two 6.5s in the front and two 6X9s in the back. There are NO TWEETER LOCATIONS IN MY CAR i need ideas for WHERE everyone has PLACED tweeters in 2009-present corollas where there haven't been tweeters before...

You can pop out that lower windows triangular panel on each front door, that's where the stock tweeters would be.....then just dremel away, dremel away.....

And please, easy with the caps locks...

Not sure how the stock tweeters are mounted in the 6 speaker system... but could you just get the tweeter covers that come on those? or does it have a special mount. I would check, but I have the JBL tweeters that are on the front door panels.

Yea, you should be able to get the covers if you didn't wanna dremel into the empty ones. But they may not be the correct diameter for your replacements.

Not to thread jack or anything but quick question. I have the 6 speaker system and I'm curious as to where the speakers are all located in the JBL system. In my tundra it had dash speakers as well. Does the JBL Corolla have dash speakers?

I believe its 2 in the front sail panels, 2 in the front lower door panel, and 2 in the rear deck

I believe this is correct, they call it an 8 speaker system though. The other 2 are because the rears are coaxial if i remember correctly.

The JBL option actually does not have tweeters int the sail panel. They are actually on the door themselves right next to the door handle. You are correct about the rears being coaxial.

Unfortunately this door panel is different for the JBL option. It comes with a built in speaker grill. You cannot order that part separately.
