I am picking up a 1988 4wd bed to use on a 1987 4wd. I had several people tell me these years should fit but I called toyota and they said a 1984 through 1988 will fit. The parts guy was really nice and spent several minutes on the phone making sure it would fit. He checked the collision book to make sure. I am driving 700 miles one way to pick up the bed and did not want any snags upon getting there - like a wasted trip.

Thanks for your reply. My husband is gone now to try to buy the one he found for spare parts. From your info and what he's been able to find out today, he feels pretty good about buying it. Thanks again.

84-88 p/u or 84-89 4Runner, most glass, sheet metal, interior parts are interchangeable, 2wd or 4wd.
