Whole lotta lights showing up after car wash, what should I do?

Howdy guys. On Monday (5 days ago) I purchased an 05 Highlander Base and am loving it so far. However I have had a problem come up that has got me very concerned and frustrated. We had a
warm day today in the Midwest, so I decided to go to the local Kwik Trip to get a car wash. As the car was about halfway through the wash, the check engine, VSC, and trac off (traction light) all came on. Originally I thought it was just because it went through a car wash, but about 12 hours later the 3 lights are still on. It is frustrating since none of these lights were on before the car wash started. I also have to renew my plates next week, and for that I have to pass emissions (this car had already passed emissions in October, but I transferred the plates on my previous car, which had emissions coming up).
I don't know much about cars but when this was happening I was with my friend who is fairly knowledgeable about cars, and he suggested that maybe water got into the sensors, which makes sense. However I don't know where to go from here so I want to know if anyone has any advice on how to correct this problem. Thank you.

Been going thru hell trying to find the source of this very prolm with my 04. It started with the battery light coming on/ off occasionally ..but then more and more until it stayed on but with that, ALL my dash lights wud come on for a second then go out..well most of them wud go out.
I was poking around at the wires around behind my driver side head light and grabbed the horn, and it disintegrated in my hand!
I removed it and when I left my brutha's house, my battery light is still on but all my nutty dash lights coming on and going off have stopped!
Now considering the amount of corrosion in that area, I am now going to be looking for a bad horn relay and/ or a corroded connection UNDER the fuse box..which is a real PITA! My multi-meter shows the battery and alternator are good.. I'm lukn for a used horn at the wreckers now.
Lemme know how it goes.
Cheers

UPDATE: I drove it yesterday Jan 23rd /19 and "THEY"RE BACK!! I'm gonna look into the EB2 connector at the fuse box under the hood. It's GOTTA be a bad connection ..somewhere..for me at least.

i had the exact same issue with my toyota highlander 2021. 7 warning lights came on (details below) immediately after car wash. This is the second time it happened to my car. First time i took it to toyota service center, and they blamed the battery. I replaced it battery at toyota service center, and the next morning i had the same issue after car wash. Does that mean that toyota cars can not stand the automatic car wash, or even heavy rain(???). Should i stop driving this expensive piece of shit in heavy rain.
7 warning lights are; brake system, advanced ultrasonic detecting and ranging, pre collision system, anti lock brake system, parking brake system, drive start control system, and blind spot monitor.
