Engine Bumps

My 06HiHy does the exact same thing you describe. I bought it used in Florida and drove it to Arizona. By the time I got home I had gotten used to that bump, but it has made me look in my rear view mirror at the stop light a few times!!! One thing I like about the bump is I know when the ICE is on or off without looking at the screen. So, as for my experience, I would say its normal for the HiHy.
