Will all brands/models of overhead DVD players/LCD (while down) obstruct the driver's rear view vision while driving? If not, what brand/model and size screen do you have?

I have a 15" dvd player and I see absolutely nothing in my rearview mirror. But again, the guy at the shop told me that before he installed it. The kids are happy and I'm just more cautious when I drive.

I have an Overhead TView T1591DV-GR. If I'd have to do it again I'd probably get the headrest ones considering the loss of visibility for the overhead one.
I don't know what to say, it depends on how much you want to spend, I guess.

i went with headrest monitors in my SE. another plus with headrest is it's easily reversible to go back to stock if you need to. ;)

here's my 9" led lcd monitors with custom white stitching to match the SE's interior. DVD feed from the alpine w910 headunit or ipod hookup.

I agree in that the rear view mirror is almost useless, in my opinion. If I'm going to get a roof mount dvd player, might as well go big -- either way, the rear visibility will be compromised (at least when the monitor is down).

So, do you have any issues with the TView dvd player? Any gripes that I should be aware of?

Please advise.
