Will installing fog lights void your warranty on a hybrid since there is no spot for the control and you have to install your own button or wire them to your driving lights?

I'd say no unless the install itself causes a electrical problem due to a bad installation.
Many have installed alarms, remote starts, radios etc without voiding warranties. It's all about a correct installation.
Even if you had a problem, the whole warranty isn't voided.Just the area where the bad install caused a problem.

Thanks, I am thinking down the road. If I have an issue say 1-2 years after the installation. I don't want Toyota to use my aftermarket fog light installation as a "scapeboat" for any electrical issue in the future.

I am thinking of connecting the fog lights to the headlights so they come on/off togehter.

Oooh, yes, good one.

...but remember, the key here is that the installation, whether done properly or not, does not constitute a void of warranty UNLESS there is a clear indication that the installation of said product with part(s) in question...like hooking up your electronics the wrong way and frying your entire car's gizmos.

Then again, who knows what's really covered and not anymore. :headbang:
