Sorry if this seems like a crazy question, but every car that I've ever owned allowed the driver to still roll down their window even if the window lock was activated. This is the first toyota I've ever owned so I'm not very knowledgeable about them. When I activate the window lock on my camry it also locks out the driver from rolling their window down. The reason I ask is because there's some kind of issue with the doors locking when activated by the remote and I think it might be related. Also this is the first car I've driven that does it this way.

Window child lock locking driver too?
Question for clarification: When you lock the windows, the you cannot roll the driver window down? Or all other windows? Even as far back as MY2007, locking the windows locks out driver control of the other windows too, like Tony said.
