Saw this in the manual:

2 Unlock all the doors
Pressing the button unlocks the driver’s door. Pressing the button again within 5 seconds unlocks the other doors.
Press and hold to open the windows.*
*: This setting must be customized at your Toyota dealer

Anyone know why this is off from the factory? Seems silly the dealer has to turn this function on for you. Who’s set this up so far?

Let's say its raining outside and your car is parked outside. Maybe one of your kids, nieces, nephews, or friends kids finds your keys and decides to play with it... and doing so opens the windows and moon roof.. Let's say your keys are in your pocket and you are carrying something that is hitting your pants pockets and it accidentally opens the windows.. It's turned off by default for a reason... but, Toyota should of made it that we can change it through the settings not through techstream or going to the dealer since most dealers don't even know how to turn it on... I have mine enabled on my camry and I probably used it twice since I got my car... the sucky thing about it is that you can't use the FOB to put the windows back up.... I wish you could.

good news is that my dealer will do the windows down feature for free, because i bought the car there. one time, one item free. Bad news is, they won't do the seat belt chime. Found a dealer that will, but I'll have to pay $45.

I got both of mine (seat belt and windows down) done yesterday. I talked the dealer into doing both for the same price - $45. It really should not cost this kind of money for a 10 minute job. The windows down put all 4 windows down. I thought it was only the front two, but I'm glad it's all 4 actually.

Hey guys so I was able to gain some information regarding this matter from Heyward Allen Toyota in Athens, Ga. so I bought a new 2020 Corolla SE. and I asked about this feature, initially they told me it would cost around $60.00 to do it since it’s considered “customization of the vehicle” until I spoke with a more experienced person on the matter, he explained to me that there is a thing called a “12,000 mile adjustment period” that’s covered under warranty, this means any adjustments or customizations that is covered under your warranty can be made within that period. The window roll down with key fob is covered and I got it done today free of charge! Hope this helps!

That's awesome news! Thank you so much for sharing. I will definitely have them do that when I take it in for my next complementary oil change... well within that period.

Anyone know of any other "adjustments" I should consider while I'm at it?

I was told u can put the key in the door and turn it to roll them up. Haven’t tried it yet, but will and let u know if it works. I have a 2020 AWD Camry it’s nice to roll them down when leaving work.

Yes, that's the only way to close the windows and moon roof. You can't use the key fob to do it, as in pressing lock to close it. You have to use the key.

If you buy an OBDII dongle and use the trial version of Carista (in the app store), you can program this yourself.
I use the OBDII dongle to troubleshoot CEL so it's still useful after you program what you want.
Just be sure to cancel the Carista app before your trial is over. I programmed my windows to lower using the remote, and turned off the passenger side seat belt warning ding.
There were many more configurable items (blinkers, interior lights, dimming options, etc.)

Just had my 2021 LE done by my dealership. Its free of charge for me maybe because I paid my car in full. Press and hold the unlock botton on the smart key, and the windows all roll down. Also, using the mechanical key, you can roll down or roll up all your windows which is pretty neat.

About Toyota Key FOB to roll vehicle windows down. The cost was free, $0, No Charge. It should be free, then again many Dealerships want to be paid or compensated for the use of their Technician and TechStream software. However, if you have other services/ work done ... they might do it for nothing. I have a 2023 Camry XSE V6.
After a long wait of 11 months, made an appointment almost 3 weeks ago, went in for my appt. last week and Toyota Dealership failed to order my Key FOB, then they ordered it. I made an appointment yesterday for today as it took about 1 hour to complete. I also requested for them to program the FOB when holding the UnLock for several seconds so that all 4 Camry windows would roll down. Either start your car and use the switches on the door panel to roll up the windows or place the Valet Key into the door lock to close the windows. The cost was $0 - No Charge.
