Intermittent issue with windshield wipers wanting to randomly come on. Usually in the morning it may swipe 2-3 times on its own. Yesterday it continued swiping until I move the windshield wiper lever and then I got a message indicating a windshield wiper malfunction. I guess I’ll have to take it back to the dealership. That’s what the message instructed.

I have the same exact issue!! Took it to the dealer 3 days ago, they advised it was a bad wiper motor. $500 and not 10 minutes after pulling out of the dealership they wipers came on for no reason. Pushing the wiper lever forward is the only thing that stops them from operating. Has anyone found a resolution for this yet??
It appears to be a common problem to which there is no known cause or cure... Maybe the Car Care Nut could diagnose it.
