Wiper motor dying?

My wipers are moving really slow, so I'm guessing that the motor has gone weak and is going to die?

Anyone else dealt with this? I can't say that I've ever seen this one here in this forum!

If wipers moving slow, I’ve had to replace the two ball bearings 10mm that the arm rotate on by a machine shop that can press them out and in with new ones on my 1992 corolla. The grease in bearings dry out and they also rust after quite a few years. Then the speed will come back. These are standard bearings nothing special other than to make sure new ones have enough grease.

Not in the 7th gen but the wiper motor died in my old KE55, they got progressively slower and slower (over several weeks) until they just stalled (which of course was right in the middle of a rain storm), even a used wiper motor from a wreckers made an immediate difference so it wasn't battery-related (which shouldn't matter as when the car is running it is being powered mostly by the alternator, not the battery)

I tried flipping the arms up and turned them on, and they seemed to work, so I don't know. I also used them to clean my windshield and they worked. Maybe next week I'll go to the junkyard if they have any 7th gens. I need to see if any later wiper motors are the same.
