Our original 2020 Camry hybrid 12v battery type is marked 375LN2-MF. It's a Lead Acid, 20hr 60 Ah, CCA 563A.
There's also an "SP" symbol marked in the corner.

What type of battery should the trickle charger be set to: the general 12v mode or to 12v AGM?

It's hard to find information about the battery online which is strange since it seems to be a battery common to Camrys for years now. It appears to be the same battery shown here for the standard 2019 Camry Replace the Battery on a 2019 Toyota Camry

If someone uses the wrong 12v mode (12v mode on an AGM battery or AGM mode on a non AGM lead acid battery) will it damage the battery or not that big of a concern?

We bought a NOCO genus 5 from Amazon to maintain the battery charge after reading the forums there's a lot of hybrid owners right now dealing with dead 12v batteries where a firmware update is required. But with working from home many of us aren't driving as much and trying to prevent a dead battery.

That is NOT an AGM. It's a regular lead-acid 375LN2-MF battery made by Johnson Controls in USA... Same as found in 2019 RAV4 and Corolla.

Is it in the engine bay? If so, then it should be OK. If in the trunk, should be AGM because of the very low electrolyte spill in case of accident. I didn't know they changed batteries to non AGM for hybrids. What you have just charge it as regular battery.
Pb stands for Plumbum, what is Latin name for lead. St, Stanum, stands for tin.

Donno what to say. Every hybrid I saw so far, had AGM deep cycle battery, including first gen Highlander, which had it under the hood. Then it all went into the trunk. Prius had in the trunk, Camry had it in the trunk. There are reasons for that battery choice. It is a larger energy storage than regular batteries of the same size , produce little to none gas during operation and, do not spill acid when damaged or during rough shakes.
That's why I am curious, if they moved battery for 2020 models into the engine bay OR, OP simply posted a picture of A identical battery from another vehicle. And, battery is still in the trunk and, for the above mentioned reasons, it should be AGM/deep cycle. That he bought his vehicle with a conventional battery means squat, someone could have replaced it at dealership.

I don't know about other hybrids but our 2019 standard Prius, purchased new, came with a regular flooded cell battery mounted up front - it has cell caps, one can see the electrolyte covered plates, and I recently brought all cells up to level with distilled water - it's most definitely not an AGM.

I just changed the 12V battery in my 2021 Venza Limited. It was a standard flooded battery - not AGM.

The battery was three years old and last week it wouldn't let the car start. I could not get one shipped and the dealer had a two-week wait for an appointment. After jump starting the car with a NOCO GB-40, I nursed the battery along for a few days with a NOCO Genius 5 trickle charger (on the 12V standard setting), plugging it in after each short trip. But it would not retain the charge.

So I bought an OEM exact fit replacement locally from Autozone: Duralast Gold BCI Group Size 47 650 CCA H5-DLG. Vented. SKU #832330 $230 minus $22 for the old battery. 3-year warrantee.

I installed it myself. Easy. Just took a 10mm socket wrench and a headlamp. All settings and presets were retained. The clock reset itself.

Significantly, the old battery, according to its label, was only 345CCA.

Auto parts stores tend to have higher prices on batteries.
