Where did you hear that from? Gen 5 - 5.5 camrys don't automatically unlock whenever you put the car into Park. I know this because I have both Gen 5 and Gen 5.5 camrys, and yes, they're both LEs and they don't unlock by themselves. But like they say, it could be the program your computer is set in. But most of the them don't unlock themselves. My $0.02

^ they don't automatically unlock when you shift into park unless you SET THE KEYLESS ENTRY that way.

Keyless Entry has three settings. I believe the factory setting only locks when you shift into drive. nothing more.

Solved.

Listed directions work and confirmed word for word from my manual.- Thanks Chevelle

The key is to pay attention to door ajar light in the dash. Like an idiot I thought I should pay attention to the dome light for some odd reason.
-To clarify and answer what Corolla_Dude was asking.. it just means you unlock the doors, then push to lock all the doors after turning the key to "On". Then keep your eyes on the door ajar light in the dash...will flash the number of times the mode the car is in.
